Last night was the first American Idol
much the same as all others some really good singers and some really bad singers who think they are good
Do these people really think they can sing or is it just to be so bad they will put you on tv

The auditions are showing the Awful singers. It's very funny how confident these people are. No wonder Simon has such an attitude.

they are saying that Paula has a drinking or drug problem on the radio.
I loved Jewel on the first day, I really like her as a person and as a singer

If that's corrrect about Paula, thats a real shame. I hope she gets help with whatever problem she has, for the good of the show.

That's possible. It happens to some of the Stars after a while.

Thank goodness Sanjia has gone, I do not know what made them even put him in the top 12 there were much better singers than him they dismissed.

I think Sanjaya had a real cult following. Really young teeny boppers probably liked him. And I think the Indo-American community probably threw him some votes. As well, there was a movement on the internet fuelled by the website, votefortheworst.com, where members/followers of that site merely vote for the worst singer of that season. This year, their target was Sanjaya. Thousands and thousands of people with nothing else better to do, voted to keep Sanjaya in the competition for as long as possible. Their efforts got him into the Top 10 so Sanjaya will now be touring with the American Idol Concert Tour later this year. HahA!

I think Blake might get the boot next week. I just can't see him beating Melinda or Jordin. But every season there is always a shocking vote, so Blake could be this season's benefactor. I think votefortheworst.com is targeting Blake to keep him in.

Is it my imagination or does Paula seem ditzier than usual? Her eyes seems glassy and she's stumbling over her words, more so than usual.
I wonder why Simon and Paula switched seats? She seemed like she was edging farther along the table every time the camera was on her. I think she and Simon had a spat or something.

Paula had botox injected into her lips? HahA! If botox can enlarge her lips, maybe they should inject some into her brain. Maybe then, she might come up with a coherent thought.

Well, that was a shocker. I thought Blake was going to go, but I still prepared myself to see Melinda go, and when she did, it still shocked me. Even the judges looked shocked. Melinda showed such grace, dignity, and class. She went out with a smile. I know we'll be seeing a lot of great things from her in the future.

I thought both candidates did alright last night, but Jordin sang particularly well. I think when she welled up with tears on that last song, she probably won over her fans and undecided voters for good. I hope Paula's nose heals up quick. She tripped over her dog? Hey American Idol is starting. I'm off to watch. We'll see who wins it.

WELL JORDIN IS OUR WINNER
Well deserved, I did not really watch too much as Lost was on so I did not know who won as I was doing the flippy thing and missed it.
I thought Kelly clarkson was really bad,

PB, I heard that the other IDOLS are also good if not better than the American Idol. I've never seen any of those though. How are you able to see the Canadian Idol..or wait, are you in Canada? Ness
